This Gurdwara Chowbachcha Sahib is related to the visits of Jagat Guru Guru Nanak Sahib. It is said that once Guru Nanak Sahib came to this place along with his friend, Bhai Mardana. During the visit of Guru Sahib, there used to be a thick jungle around this place. Guru Nanak Sahib used to bathe his feet in a small pool and did the land-filling with his spiritual energy. Feeling this blessedness, Ram Rai Ji contributed to the development of the Gurdwara. With time, it flourished into the spiritual sanctuary that it is today, becoming an epitome of piety and sincerity for Sikhs.

The Gurdwara lies to the north of the Chowbachcha Sahib bus stop, between Mughalpura and Dharampura, near a beautiful canal.
